This class emphasizes balance, positioning, and defensive awareness, helping you develop the ability to control opponents and dictate the fight. Perfect for beginners looking to improve their overall skill set in a structured and supportive environment! Follow these steps to prepare for class: 1. Wear Proper Gear – Comfortable athletic attire like a rash guard and grappling shorts/spats, no zippers or pockets. Bring gloves and shin guards. Rentals are available at the gym. 2. Stay Clean – Shower, trim nails, and wear fresh training gear. 3. Hydrate & Eat Smart – Drink water and have a light snack 30-60 mins before class. 4. Arrive Early – Stretch, check in, and get ready. 5. Train Smart – Listen, respect partners, and focus on learning.
